LittleArea

How would you like to have your own LittleArea?

Part of the reason for choosing LittleArea as my domain name was to share it with whomever wanted to have a little area of their own. My plan is to offer subdomains to anyone interested.

In case you don’t know what a subdomain is, it allows you to replace the “www” from the address with whatever you like. For example, http://your.littlearea.com would be a valid subdomain. Obviously names would have to be unique, so they will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.

I plan on making this free to anyone interested. However, there will be some requirements for those users. First and foremost, the content must be suitable for all audiences, no exceptions. Second… well I don’t really have anything for second yet, but there may be something.

I haven’t put any work into getting this up and running yet, and haven’t thought about any kind of structure. There are a few ideas running through my head that I have to consider. There may be some restrictions such as a specific system installed (WordPress possibly), but then again I may just leave it open to whatever you want. I am also considering requiring at least one Google Ad placement per page to help pay the hosting fees, but again, haven’t decided on anything.
